I conducted an in-person training for a corporate client that was seeking an instructor to lead a Communication Skills course. The training material was supplied by the training provider I was contracted through, Sprintzeal, and Sprintzeal’s proprietary Communcation Skills material was used to lead the training session. This was a single-day session where I not only led the student through the course material (PowerPoint), but I also drew upon my 15+ years of professional experience, including my Fortune 150 consulting experience in project management, leadership, execution, and conflict resolution, to add more color to the numerous management and communication skills and styles that were discussed and taught to help further sharpen those skills. Additionally, I helped lead performative skits with audience participation to help the students stay engaged with the material and model the behaviors and skills being taught.
